CM Process Solutions have extensive experience in the handling of washing insulated stainless steel lined bins, which resulted in CM Process Solutions supplying 23 vat washing machines to one major dry ice supplier which were installed at all there manufacturing plants within North America
These insulated containers are extremely heavy and certainly not easily tipped over by hand, manual handling injuries were common, and the process was labor intensive and inefficient, coupled with the fact that the containers were being washed by hose which meant there was a potential for human error and the containers not being correctly washed and sanitized.
Containers were being returned and upon inspection there were containments of chicken and protein fats within the bins, which could result in the trace of foodborne pathogens such as Escherichia coli (E. coli) and Campylobacter, which if not handled and correctly washed and sanitized, it could easily be passed and spread to other users of the bins.
Our range of vat washers are designed to automatically lift and invert the insulated bin within the wash chamber, a recirculated hot wash at 140 °F followed by a heated sanitizing rinse at 185 °F is a standard wash treatment, an optional freshwater rinse coupled with a sanitizer chemical can also be installed giving the insulated bin a three-step wash and sanitizer process.
Batch type machines are available in single and double capacity and for even greater throughputs we supply inline continuous type tunnel designs.
