CM Process Solutions offers a comprehensive range of buggy washer systems designed to support the food processing industry in washing industry-standard 400 lb. (200 liters) and 600 lb. (300 liters) dump buggies, commonly known as v-mags, edge buggies, tote bins, or simply dump buggies.

Our range consists of three cabinet-style batch washers engineered to offer varying wash throughputs. Depending on your facility’s individual requirements, we can provide a single machine that washes one Euro-style buggy per cycle with up to 20 cycles per hour (dependent on pollution and soiling levels). Our double unit is capable of washing two V-mag buggies per cycle at up to 40 cycles per hour. The quad unit for larger food processing facilities washes four dump buggies per wash cycle and has a throughput of up to 80 buggies per hour. Customers like all three dump buggy washers due to the small footprint they take up within production areas.
For continual feed capabilities, our ET75 conveyorized tunnel dump buggy washer is available. It can wash a minimum of 75 dump buggies per hour.
Our Euro-style buggy and v-mag washers stand out with their unique features, including the innovative Travel Jet System, high-temperature rinse cycles, and a range of standard and optional filtration systems. These features ensure a thorough and efficient cleaning process, making our semi-automated washing solution the perfect choice for your dump buggy wash requirements.
Our range of dump buggy washers offers three distinct advantages over conventional manual hand washing, making them the clear choice for transitioning to automated washing systems.
1. Labor Efficiency
Our automated buggy washer system offers significant relief from the labor-intensive manual hand-washing process. Operators use an automatic buggy washer, which loads the dump buggy into the machine, closes the door, and initiates the wash cycle. While the machine completes its automated cleaning process, operators can focus on other cleaning or maintenance tasks, relieving them from the burden of manual labor and ensuring efficient use of their time.
2. Risk Reduction for Personnel and Equipment
Industrial washing areas are typically wet and hazardous work environments. When manually handling v-mag carts, operators must invert them to wash the underside where the wheels are positioned. Operators naturally become fatigued throughout the workday, making these Euro-style buggies feel heavier. A 400 lb. (200 liters) v-mag weighs 88 lbs., while a 600 lb. (300 liters) v-edge dump buggy weighs approximately 110 lbs.
Operators working in wet and hazardous production areas risk injury from slipping on wash hoses or developing repetitive strain injuries. Manual handling of v-mag carts also increases the risk of damaging the Euro buggy and washroom floor, leading to additional operational expenses. Our automated systems significantly reduce these risks, ensuring the safety and well-being of your personnel and equipment.
3. Consistency and Food Safety Compliance
Each industry faces unique challenges, whether in meat processing or the RTE sector. Pathogens like E. coli and Salmonella can result in expensive, brand-damaging product recalls. For facilities handling diverse food ingredients, thoroughly washing and sanitizing Euro dump buggies is critical to prevent cross-contamination and exposure to food allergens such as gluten, lactose, or peanuts. If dealing in critical product recipes that are stated as allergen-free, please discuss your requirements with our industrial washing specialist, Brian Meyer. Custom wash cycles and un-recycled water/detergent feeds may be required.
CM Process Solutions can tailor machines to your specific requirements with multiple selectable wash programs and optional 185°F heated or cold-water sanitizing chemical rinses. Our industrial washing equipment improves cleaning consistency and quality in significantly shorter timeframes than manual washing and sanitization, enabling you to confidently focus on other critical business aspects.
Seeing is believing! Our newly commissioned demonstration center is the ideal environment to test equipment for your process requirement and put the equipment through its paces. Our team are on hand to welcome customers visiting this unique test center.
